Dr. Greg is a member of the Colorado Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the Colorado Optometric Glaucoma Society.  He is fellowship-trained in ocular disease treatment and management, including red eyes, glaucoma treatment, and post-surgical care.  He was a full-time faculty at two colleges of optometry and performs specialty contact fittings for high prescriptions, astigmatism, keratoconus, and diseased corneas that require special help with contact lenses not used in the mainstream.

Upon completing his residency, Dr. Greg became an Instructor and later an Assistant Professor of Ocular Disease at the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO).  He performed clinical teaching, lectured, and supervised student research projects there.  He has published numerous papers in optometric texts and peer-reviewed journal articles.  In 1990, he became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.  After six years at SCCO, Dr. Greg became an Assistant Professor at the Indiana University School of Optometry.  In 1997, he was awarded Faculty of the Year for the third-year class at Indiana University.

Dr. Greg practices with his wife, Dr. Amy Abel.  In his free time, Dr. Greg is a huge sports fan.  When he’s not watching the Rockies, Broncos, Huskers, or Hoosiers, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
